    Answer: You will need to check with your town regarding requirements for permits. Most towns do not require permits for units under 100 square feet. However, you will still need to check with your town regarding property line set backs. In most cases, units that are 100 square feet or larger will require a permit.

  2. Question: Do I need a special foundation for these products?

    Answer: Once again, this is a question for your town. Each town has different requirements regarding foundations. Most towns do not require a special foundation for units under 100 square feet. Units that are over 100 square feet, but less than 200 square feet usually require a crushed stone foundation. Units over 200 square feet often require a cement slab or cement footings.
